Eggyverse & Workshop Updates
I. Unit Update
(1) The "Mirror" unit is now available. Builders can now use it to create mirror effects.
(2) Deep Water has received a major appearance update, introducing new parameters such as shoreline effects, foam, glimmers, ripples, and more. Multiple templates are available to create even cooler water effects. Give it a try now!
(3) The "Notice Board" unit has received a significant update.
1. The "Text Direction" setting now includes a "Vertical Text" option. You to set the starting position of vertical text as "Left to Right" or "Right to Left."
2. Supports setting font attributes such as "gradient color" and "gradient angle."
3. Supports setting font attributes such as "font italic angle," "horizontal alignment," and "vertical alignment."
4. Redesigned the "scroll" feature in the "text overflow handling" settings to support more diverse text scrolling styles.
(4) Major update to the "creatures" units.
1. Added the "Bone Edit" feature: Eggy/humanoid/quadruped creatures now support offsetting or scaling the bones of the head, body, and limbs in the [Creatures Customization] interface, allowing for more flexible shapes.
2. Added the "Collision Edit" feature: Eggy/humanoid/quadruped creatures now support collision preview and modification of the height and radius of the physics capsule in the [Creature Customization] interface, allowing you to better match the model with the bones.
3. Updated the creature action system: Humanoid/quadruped creatures now support selecting and playing Eggy creature's standard actions, jump actions, and movement actions. Both official actions and custom actions are supported!
4. Humanoid/quadruped creatures can now interact with units like "ladders" and "horizontal bars"; Eggy's unit interaction actions can now be played for unit-furniture interactions.
II. New "Gametime" system and dynamic sky
(1) Added the "Gametime" system: The [Rules Settings] - [Rules] section now includes settings related to gametime, which allows you to create gameplay mechanics related to day-night cycles and control the changes in the dynamic sky background.
(2) Added the "Dynamic Sky" background: This sky background can display day-night transitions corresponding to gametime. Set "gametime" to elapse automatically to achieve day-night cycles during gameplay.
III. New Dynamic Emoji Feature for Creatures
(1) The Eggy creatures now have a new "facial expression" property: Set dynamic facial expressions for Eggy creatures to show face-based emotions such as "happy," "angry," "sad," and "talking," with more exclusive dynamic expressions available to the Sunny Six!
(2) In the "story animation" feature, the actors' "facial expression" sub-track now supports the newly added dynamic expressions.
IV. New "Multi-Jump" Feature
(1) In "Prefab Editing," the "Eggy" and "Creatures" prefabs now include the "Jump Count" and "Jump Cooldown" properties, allowing you to configure them for multiple jumps in mid-air.
(2) In "Rules" - "Property Rules," a new "Eggy Jump Count" property has been added. Setting this property can batch override the "Jump Count" property for all Eggies and Creatures prefabs on the map.
(3) Eggy Code Blocks Update: The "set jump attribute" block now includes parameters for "Jump Count" and "Jump Cooldown," enabling dynamic adjustments to the multi-jump capabilities of Eggies or Creatures.
V. UI Editor Updates
New "Scene Interface" Feature: available at the top of the UI Editor. Use decorators or Eggy Code to display the scene interface within the scene. The scene interface is suitable for interactions attached to units or locations, such as displaying a button after tapping a unit.
VI. "Color Filter" Update
New filters "Ink Wash Style" and "Colored Pencil Style" have been added, allowing for the creation of more stylized maps.
Adjustments & Optimizations
I. Amazing Ebby
(1) Added stats descriptions for some skills.
(2) New skill mechanics added
1. Initiative Skill: Skills marked as Initiative will be activated once at the start of the Ebby Battle. Initiative skills: Catorbat - Catorbat Arrives, Springkitten - Spring Bounce, Banaduck - Stabanana, Electric - Charging Link
2. Reactive Skill: Skills marked as Reactive will be activated immediately upon meeting specific conditions. Reactive skills: Dynafox - Crazy Comeback, Fluoresnail - Stunning Flash, Normal - Single-Target Dispel, Normal - Bloodthirsty Armor
(3) Special Attribute Status Updates
1. Added a Grass-type special status [Spore], which attaches spores to the target, dealing (2% current HP x stack count Magic DMG) per second and reducing Physical ATK and Magic ATK by 8% x stack count. Can stack up to 5 times, lasting for 8s.
2. Adjusted the Water-type special status [Frost]. It now reduces the target's Attack Speed by 10% and Movement Speed by 20% per stack, lasting for 9s. When at 4 stacks, it freezes the target for 3s and deals (125% Physical ATK + 50) Physical DMG.
3. Adjusted the Electric-type special status [Electrocution]. Now it's triggered whenever the target takes Electric DMG. Each stack deals (3% lost HP + 10) Physical DMG.
(4) Balance Update
1. Optimized the movement and attack AI logic for Banaduck, Searshroom, and Alperma. They will now adjust their positioning when facing close-range threats.
2. Adjusted the stacking logic of Searshroom's "Stone-Baked Aroma" and Alperma's "Max Power." Their accumulated stacks will no longer affected by recalling and re-summoning Ebbies.
3. Etherin's "Hypnotic Soundwave" now releases earlier. The Hypnotic Bubble now acts as a homing projectile; the sleep duration on hit increased from 3s to 4s.
4. Increased the effective range of Banaduck's "Stabanana" projectiles.
5. Adjusted the Water-type universal skill "Icicle Rain." The total DMG increased from 320% Magic ATK + 50 to 400% Magic ATK + 80.
6. Sirias's exclusive skill "Phantom Clone": The phantom's range increased from 7.5 meters to 15 meters, while the expansion speed decreased by 30%.
7. Springkitten's exclusive skill "Spring Bounce": During jumps, Springkitten becomes immune to DMG.
8. Slimester's exclusive skill "Slime Form": Added a new effect where, after revival, the next normal attack launches an explosive water ball. On hit, the explosion deals Magic DMG equal to 320% Magic ATK and applies 2 stacks of Frost.
9. Polartle's exclusive skill "Iceberg Splash": Magic DEF boost increased from 30% to 100% when the skill is active.
10. Raddit's exclusive skill [Spiral Succulent]: Has a 30% chance to apply 1 stack of Spore when the blades hit. The HP recovery on hit has been adjusted from 5% Physical ATK to 10% Physical ATK.
11. Arachnivolt's exclusive skill [High Pressure Web]: The residual web's DMG per second increased from 40% Magic ATK to 60% Magic ATK; radius has increased from 3 meters to 4 meters.
12. Pouchbear's exclusive skill [Paw Slap]: Pouchbear now steps forward while slapping. During the casting period, it gains 80% DMG Reduction.
(5) Other Adjustments & Optimizations
1. Added a new item category to the Ebby backpack. The Potential Fruit choice box can be found in the Ebby backpack if not opened.
2. Fixed an issue where the Melee DEF and Melee Heavy Armor traits were not triggering correctly when enemies were nearby.
3. Fixed an issue where Eruptoise's "Raging Volcano" occasionally only fired one fireball.
4. Fixed an issue where Catorbat had abnormal interactions in Ebbyville.
II. Game Mode Adjustments
1. Hype Series Adjustments & Optimizations
- Fixed an issue where enemies trapped in Snuffles the Elephant's skill 1 [Floating Bubble] would prematurely break the bubble when receiving healing effects.
- Fixed an issue where Snuffles the Elephant's exclusive card [Bubble Illusions] might not take effect when both [Bubble Enhancement] and [Bubble Illusions] were equipped.
- Fixed an issue where Snuffles the Elephant, when equipped with the exclusive card [Charged Strike], could reset the ultimate cooldown during [Storm Suction] by using the Hype Skill [Invincible].
- Fixed an issue where melee heroes could not deal normal attack DMG at specific angles.
- Fixed an error in the DMG description of Energy Kid's [Drumstick Home Run].
2. Fright Night Escape Adjustments & Optimizations
- Added skill cooldown-related descriptions to the Eggy Gallery.
- Fixed an issue where the Mute Girl, after activating [Imprisoning Claw], would drop the Survivor when moving.
- Optimized the camera position for Survivors when placed on the Popcorn Machine.
- Fixed an issue where Butlers could not use [Soul-Stealer] on each other.
3. [Roll] Adjustments
- Players in the rolling state will not be forced out of control when hit by Fin-isher or explosions, but will still take the corresponding DMG and be knocked back.
- We have modified the cooldown mechanic for rolling for smoother gameplay. Now, when the roll is interrupted, it will immediately enter cooldown instead of waiting for the remaining duration to finish.
4. Ultimate Skill [Companion Cannon] Adjustment
To provide other players with more strategies to counter the skill and to give the skill more depths, we have added the following features: Cannons can now be affected and controlled by enemy Freeze, Transformation, Fear, Bubble, Rewind, and Shock states. While controlled, Cannons cannot fire projectiles. Additionally, Cannons can be made invisible by friendly invisible effects.
